I am so disappointed. I was so happy to have found this TV stand. I had looked everywhere for a stand for our new 37 inch flat planel TV. When I read all the reviews, I was confident in purchasing this item. [...]When we opened it, we took out every piece to inspect for damage, etc. When we unwrapped the side panel piece, there was a huge crack all the way down the side where the leg meets the panel. I could esily have broken the leg off... there was only a tiny piece of wood keeping it on. I was so disappointed. [...]With all that being said... the look of the piece is very nice and I am looking forward to getting it put together. [...] I hope to have my side panel soon. It seems as this is probably a good product... I just had bad luck with mine.

Love it! Beautiful piece. So glad I decided on purchasing it. I was a little hesitant because I never ordered from this co before, but I definately NOT hesitate to order from them again. The only thing I wish this stand had was a little more height and then it would be 100% perfect, but I still give it 5 stars because we've had it since Jan '08 and everyone who sees it loves it.

This is a great t.v. stand. One of the best features is that the shelves are wide enough to accommodate receiver and satellite box. It is very sturdy and looks great. I am so glad I found this website for purchasing t.v. stands at a reasonable price. I love this product.

This is an outstanding product! The design is not too fancy - "transitional" - but attractive, with the curved legs. I bought it to accomodate the 46-inch flat panel TV I plan to buy, but until then our heavy 27-inch Sony CRT fits just fine on it. This stand can take up to 250 lbs. so no worries about weight (the credenza itself is fairly heavy.) It is solidly made and has a 5th leg (which you don't see) to support the weight in the middle of its span. All parts were present in the well-organized package and the instructions are fine if you take your time. It uses typical knockdown (KD) fasteners and wood dowels for positioning (which I glued in place for extra strength - glue is not supplied). The glass doors are attractive, but the hinges, while adequate, are not top quality -- I took extra time adjusting them. I spent 2 hours putting this stand together at a leisurely pace. The finish is a rich dark brown and my unit arrived with no significant flaws. I put VCR and DVD in top left shelf, Wii and accessories in top right, and media in both bottom shelves. It has large openings for wiring. All in all, I am very pleased, especially with the relatively low price for this quality credenza.

Supports my Plasma and home theater components beautifully. Biggest complaints include scratching and nicks way too easily and the glass doors just don't seem to align, causing some rubbing when opening and closing doors. You can adjust the hinges to raise or lower the doors, however every combination I have tried just doesn't seem to work. Other than the slightest touch leaving a scratch, it is a nice piece. I would buy again or recommend.

Some words on the instructions would be helpful. It was not until we had it together that we realized that wood glue in the pegs would have made it sturdier. But, because we had to take a little of it apart and found the pegs and securing hardware was then loose, we did not dare take it all apart to glue it. It seems sturdy enough as is, since the back keeps it from moving. Also, the color is not really dark brown. It is a dark finish, but has quite a bit of red in it, imitating a mahogany finish rather than mocha or cherry. It is stylish and probably one of the better choices in this price range for harmonizing with darker wood furniture.

I was at first somewhat skeptical of buying furniture online, but after I received the TV table I was quite pleased. This is a solid piece of furniture that I am proud to have in my living room. The table is very smooth and matched our decor very well. This is a brown piece of furniture, so if you want darker than that you might look elsewhere. The components all fit nicely into the table and are protected from kids, pets, and dog hair. I put my new 46' flat screen on this baby and I feel secure. May look at mounting on the wall at some point. Looks just like it does in the picture. I put it together in about 1.5 hours, but it was my first time putting furniture together from a box. This is a good deal.

Assembly was surprisingly easy (about 45 minutes - 60 minutes) although there are at least 50 screws/dowels to insert. You need to work carefully as the finish damages easily (just moving my receiver from one shelf to another caused a couple of nicks). My 46" LCD looks perfect on this. One tip: before you screw on the back, see how your TV needs to be secured to the table to prevent tipping: usually there is a strap that needs to be screwed in to the table. This screw would look better if screwed in from the bottom of the tabletop(but you can't do this if you have already screwed in the back).

This really surprised me. [...]This unit was packed tighter that a kilo of coke hidden in a case of bananas. I am always concerned when I order large, heavy items and have them shipped, but this was packaged really well. Even with all the banged edges, ripped corners and tears, it was unharmed [...] Assembly went very well until I installed the doors. It took some fine tuning to get the doors to align correctly and every time I moved the unit more than a few feet, the dimensions seemed to change, throwing off the alignment of the doors. My advise is to get the unit set up where/how you want it, then fine tune the doors. It took me about 90 minutes to get it fully together.This is NOT one of those flimsy, you-assemble-yourself, particle board stands. It is nice, stained wood.This fits out 42" LCD perfectly and looks really good with out other furniture. It is a nice dark wood (not black) and matches some tables we got from [...]very well.If you are considering any other TV units, at least keep this one on your short list, you won't be disappointed.

I shopped locally without any luck. All the stands I saw were either very expensive or not my style. Then I decided to go online and see what was available in a modern style. This TV stand was the best we could find, and we shopped many different stores. It was the most attractive in the price range we wanted. I looked all over for a few weeks, sought some decorating opinions, and settled on this stand. I got the free shipping and also got upgraded to 3 day shipping which was very nice. It was packaged well and included all the necessary hardware and instructions. I'm an engineer, and found myself paying pretty close attention to the instructions to get it right. Everything came together well, although I would recommend buying some wood glue beforehand to further secure the wooden pegs. The doors are a bit tricky to get perfectly aligned, but I'm very happy with this solid piece.
