Note: Most chairs ship unassembled, and cannot be returned once they have been assembled.
I purchased this chair because I needed something taller than your usual office chair. I have 3ft high counters in my craft space. I was a bit skeptical only because taller chairs like these have a tendency to tip easily if not properly balanced. I was pleasantly surprised to find this to be a sturdy reliable comfortable chair. I love the tear drop foot rest. In addition, it rolls very smoothly on my 3/4" plywood surface. I don't recommend placing it on a carpeted surface. I had a bit of a problem putting one of the pieces in place which happened to be a plastic cover that slips over the metal connection between the back of the chair to the underside of the seat. Things just didn't seem to line up. Despite this, it does not interfere with the overall function of the chair. So, I just left it off since it's decorative and has no "real" function to my knowledge. Make sure you tighten the screws well or they will eventually fall out. I made that mistake. You really have to crank them down. Not just "hand-tighten" them. So, ladies, get out your power drill or have your hubby tighten them for you. I would definitely recommend this to a friend or family member and the price was fantastic. The best on the internet. The same or similar types like this one run in upwards of $150+.
