My kids are rough on things, but these are sturdy enough to handle even them! They don't tip easily and are easy to clean. They look great at the granite bar!

I have been searching all the ends of the earth for bar stools for the amazing table I bought at the dock downtown in los angeles. I wanted espresso wood stools with white leather or vinyl seats. while I never EVER found those in all my treacherous searchers I did find these. So to lessen the heart ache I decided to buy these oh so close (minus the white seats obviously) and I am super happy. Cheap and easy to put together[...] My lovely roomie put them together to surprise me and she said it was super easy. no muss no fuss kinda job. They are comfy and the perfect height. I could not be happier[...]...well I guess you could call me elated. YAYAYAYAYAYYYYYY!!!!!1

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Easy to assemble, however I recomend using glue to eliminate future wobbles and creaks. However, I had to cut down the stools to get the exact height I wanted for the kitchen counter breakfast bar. This was fairly easy to do after assembled becasue of the straight forward design, so this might be something to consider.
