the screw plugs don't all have a snug fit so they fall out unless hammered in or glued in. Plastic sliders on bottom made the stool unsteady so I pulled off and replaced with felt slidder pads

Can not go wrong with them. Of course they are not made of best material in the world but they are definitely the best bang for the buck. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for stools that don?t want to take a small loan out. BEST BUY

love the stools- only problem tiny wood pieces over screws fall out and need to be glued. Great for kids- they can kneel on them without hurting their knees

The chairs are attractive and suit my purpose great. The wood foot bar makes me nervous for longterm durability as it is not very heavy. But for now they look and work great.

I use these stools in my kitchen. They are great and add a lovely stylish look to it. The price was great for what I got, but in looking around in retail stores, I've noticed the same stools for the same price so I could have gotten them from a store. Hopefully already assembled and without the delay in shipping. But they seem ok. Not sure if their going to last very long. I don't think they would if there were more than me using them mostly.

You get what you pay for and I don't mean that as a total slam. The cost of these barstools was definitely appealing but other stores charge up to twice as much and I think those would feel a lot more solid.

I bought 2 barstools based on the other reviews and sure enough they are really nice and have a very large seat. You can seat totally on the seat and they are comfortable and not too heavy nor bulky. My husband put together and they weren't too bad. The only thing he noticed is the directions said there were short and long screws but there were only long screws. There was the right number of screws and he went ahead and used all long and they worked. We did not want to spend a fortune so the price was right and the seats look like leather.

I am very happy w/ the wide seat however, the tiny wood pieces included to conceal the screw holes do not fit properly.

I couldn't be happier with the 3 stools I ordered. I frankly didn't expect them to be as nice as they were because of the great price. I looked at many stores and on-line before I found these. Pottery Barn offers a stool just like this for the same price I paid for all 3! I got them delivered to my home right before the holidays and every guest commented on them and also how comfortable they were. I would highly recommend them to others.
