This is a very good barstool -- especially when the relatively modest price is taken into account. I'm sure you could find better, but not in the price range. It swivels smoothly, is sturdy enough for big people, and it looks good. The seat is more vinyl looking than leather (it is a very dark brown vinyl). I would recommend it if you are considering it.
