the darker marks are painted on and not even centered or consistent...serves it's purpose but I would have never purchased this product having seen it up close and personal ahead of time

We utilize our stools at a kitchen island. The stools are well built and the finish is good. The only reason I did not rate this product an excellent rating is because it did not include any type of feet (floor guard) to attach to the legs.
