About Woodard Wrought Iron
Each Woodard frame is purified and dipped into a bath of zinc phosphates (rust inhibitors) during our state-of-the-art MetalGuard finishing products. Wrought Iron frames are electrostatically coated, creating a permanent seal that locks out rust. They are also finished with the highest quality powder-coat paint finish for durability and beauty.
Woodard continues to hand-craft each piece of wrought iron furniture-a tradition handed down through generations. Combining the heaviest available solid wrought iron stock with the best steel, our individual craftsmen use an anvil and hammer to forge the intricate details found on many Woodard frames.
Woodard designers meticulously study each product style with the goal of preserving authentic designs. Fabrics are selected on the basis of quality, coloration, trend, and in some cases, historical significance. Finish choices range from colorations which are current in vogue to those who are traditional and timeless. Design integrity by Woodard is a reality-not a concept.
Woodard Limited Warranty
Woodard warrants to the original purchase (within the 50 United States and Canada) that the furniture you have selected is free from defects in material and workmanship for fifteen years for residential use of Classics and Aluminum collections, three years for residential use of Wicker and Table Top and commercial use of all products that Woodard deems proper for commercial use. Since 1866 the Woodard name has been upheld by master craftsmen loyal to the unparalleled standards established by founder Lyman Woodard. Beginning in the 1930’s, the Woodard family developed the first collection of hand-crafted wrought iron furniture. This innovation marked the birth of casual outdoor furniture and ultimately led to casual furniture designs made from a variety of materials, the most prominent being cast and tubular aluminum.Throughout the years, Woodard expanded its product offering. Changing lifestyles with an emphasis on comfort prompted Woodard to enter the tubular aluminum market. Soon after, Woodard began manufacturing cast aluminum furniture, providing an assortment of quality crafted casual furniture pieces. Most recently, Woodard added an all seasons wicker line focused on design innovation and comfort.
Today, Woodard continues the tradition of hand-crafted wrought iron furniture with the same quality craftsmanship implemented by its founder. Under the flagship Woodard brand, wrought iron, cast aluminum, tubular aluminum and all seasons wicker products are manufactured using the finest materials available, state of the art finish systems, and quality control systems second to none in our industry.
