I assiduously read the reviews, which appeared to be mixed. But I noticed the most recent reviews seemed most positive. So I took a chance and these stools really are a bargain. They look nice, no flaws, no problems. They are quite stable. I have them tucked under my kitchen island. The seats are not super-flat (I've never had rush seats, so maybe that's normal), but the fibers are smooth. And above all, the price is SO far below any comparable product, it makes them a very good buy.

Great deal on a decent product. Quality is on par with much more expensive stools. Assembled in the USA although I'm sure the materials are imported (but who cares- other than our manufacturing base, but that's another subject!) Bottom line is that for the money you can't go wrong- after a few months they're still holding up great (frame and joints are solid) even under the constant assualt from my destructive kids- Even IF I have to toss em in a year or two they were still well worth the $$$. If the style works in your decor, buy these; remember how much you paid- and don't complain!

These seats look great. However, only after a few weeks of use, they (both that I received in the set) became way too wobbly. I now need to get replacements because they are just too unstable and seem unsafe that all my guests make a negative comment about the seats.

We looked for quite awhile to find stools to suit our families' lifestyle. These are perfect! I could not believe the price and was expecting to be slightly dissapointed when they arrived. However, we have gotten more comments and complements from family and friends as to their look and versitility. They are light weight and can easily be moved from one room to another for extra seating during social functions. My young boys can easily get on and off of the stools, and they have been sturdy enough to hold a 300 lb. adult. Not bad! :)
I would certainly recommend these stools. we have 4, and we may end up purchasing 2 more.

These stools are great - we baught 4 of them and have had absolutly no problems. They look great and are comfortable.

These kitchen bar stools look great. However, after only a few weeks, they became very unsteady.
I thought, with my young children, that would not be a problem, however, it certainly is. They still look great and have not collapsed, but I have my concerns that they will, when I have adult company over that uses them.
I would definitely suggest NOT buying these items, even if they are for young children.
