We were thinking the table would be taller, but it is actually a good height for our use. We run a children's program each week and it is used as a prop/furniture for the set. We are considering repainting the table top to make it stand out more, and since we assembled it that will be easy to do. It would be great if we could buy a center column piece to increase height as an option. Over all a great table.
