I bought this stand to hold my new 42" LCD TV and related components. It is the perfect size for my TV and has more than enough room for my receiver, DVR, and DVD player. The glass doors allow IR signals through. It has a surprisingly solid backing with all the necessary holes for wiring. I use the open shelf for a center channel speaker.

This stand is really an excellent bargain. The quality is top notch. It receives compliments from everyone who has seen it in our den.
