Only problem with this product is the assembly directions and the too-shallow pre-drilled holes for fasteners. To solve these two problems, (1) in Step 2 use SMALL head cap bolts to attach the back unit, NOT middle-sized ones (otherwise, the bolt will go right through the back of your stool!); (2) with stretchers in place (to be sure the alignment is right), increase the depth of all pre-drilled screw holes using a 1/8" drill bit (I used a simple [...] low-tech electric screwdriver with a drillbit), then the head cap bolts will go in easily using the supplied hex wrench.

Delivery was very prompt, product was well packaged, and more than enough hardware is provided. Only problem with this product is the assembly directions and the too-shallow pre-drilled holes for fasteners (see product comments).

A nice barstool and good quality considering they are made overseas from rubberwood. The finish looks great. The seat pad is very comfortable. We use them at our kitchen island the has a bartop that overhangs 15 inches and is 43 inches high. They fit just right and are the perfect height for different people.
Take your time assembling them, particularly with the back legs. The corner bolts can be tough to get started. If the stool doesn't sit flat intially, loosen the bolts again and wiggle it until it does, retighten. I only had to do this to one.
Our friends and family love the look and say the stools are comfortable.

Fast free shipping. They charge approxiametley 5% for return shipping insurance which is reasonable. They are packaged very well. I found only one minor nick low on a leg that I touched up with a marker.

These chairs work well with the matching pub table. The only glitch has to do with assembly. The chairs are made of rubberwood which is a hardwood similar in hardness to ash or oak. The guide holes provided for screwing parts of the leg assembly together would work for pine or some other soft wood, but create a challenge since this is a hardwood product. Consequently, I had to carefully rework the guide holes in order to properly seat the included screws. Very doable, but this should have been done during fabrication and not left for customers to figure out during assembly. Once assembled, the chairs are great in all respects. [...]
