Exactly what we wanted in look and function. Easy to assemble. Quality control of parts could be improved. Once gas lift, stand and base are connected, am unable to separate for replacement/maintenance/etc.

These stools are outstanding! Yes, they are heavy, but that's part of the appeal... they won't fall over or move when you're sitting down on one. Everyone from the grandkids to grandpa loves them. And they look great, too.

I own 14 of these barstools - 6 were bought about 4 years ago and recently I bought 8 more. I use them at my kitchen counter and very large (and tall) kitchen table. I love them because they're adjustable, comfortable, sturdy, and attractive. If you ScotchGuard them (I use Guardsman actually), it's easy to clean up spills. The only con is that they're somewhat heavy, but if they weren't, they wouldn't be as sturdy. They don't scratch the floor either.
