The solder around the joints of the vertical pieces that connect the top of the headboard to the bottom rail of the headboard were not clean. It looks like a blob of solder was just dropped around the vertical pieces and were not filed down and the finish was just sprayed on top of it. We prop up pillows to hide it - which defeats the purpose of having what looks like a nice headboard.

This headboard looks great, [...] and was not very difficult to assemble. My only issue is that it does not come in Cal King size. If you have a Cal King bed you must purchase extension plates in order to make the King headboard fit on a Cal King frame. I got my extension plates for $15 from a local mattress store. Also, the extension plates show a little bit on either side of the bed. If you look at the attached photo, the extension plate is the black thing you see on the bottom left of the photo, next to the cord for the lamp.

I purchased this product; it looks very beautiful and was not too difficult to assemble. The only issue is that the king headboard doesn't fit a California king bed frame. If you have a Cal King bed, you have to purchase "extension plates" from a furniture store in order to attach the headboard. The extension plates show a little bit, but it doesn't look bad.
