This Mission style daybed with a pop-up trundle unit will make a perfect addition to your living room, guest room, or bedroom. It is made from solid oak, and features attractive slat back spindles. The trundle unit comes out from underneath the daybed to create a larger area for sleeping. This includes a link spring which supports a daybed or futon mattress. Both the trundle unit and link spring are only compatible with Hillsdale futons and daybeds. This daybed is sure to please!

Truck Freight Additional Information:

This product is too heavy/large to ship via the small package delivery services (e.g. UPS, FedEx) so it will be sent to you via truck freight. Truck freight is different than standard UPS, FedEx or US Mail in that you will be responsible for carrying the product from the back of the truck into your house (or wherever it's going).

The most important thing to remember about truck freight is that you MUST inspect the package at the time of delivery. If the box has any damage, or if there is any reason for you to be at all concerned about damage, please write "PRODUCT DAMAGED" clearly on the sheet that they ask you to sign. This simply insures that if there is any damage, it will be easy to take care of the problem.

If you are ordering a very large item, please keep in mind that you may need a couple of people to help unload it. Alternatively, most truck freight companies offer additional services to help you move items from the truck into your house. Once we email you the tracking information you can contact the shipper directly to inquire about additional services. You would be responsible for directly paying the truck freight carrier for any additional services.

Comments about Hillsdale Furniture Mission Daybed:

for the [$] that the complete daybed cost me (trundle/spring base/matresses), this furniture is actually quite nice. although it's not high-end, the color and finish is pretty good. once assembled is very sturdy and solid. for a daybed, i would have preferred to have a choice in buying a higer quality spring board/trundle set, as the ones that come with this bed are standard issue materials. they perform well, but the trundle unit will make a little bit of noise if you pop it up and lay on the matress you placed on it (brand new serta matress which was noiseless). the spring board did not really make any noise when layed on with the same brand new matress.overall nice furniture, complements any room, easy assembly/disassembly (modular, can be collapsed to 7 pieces - 2 matresses/spring board/trundle/2 sides/back). highly recommend.
