What a pleasant surprise! I read all the reviews and decided to order 3 of them. Extremely easy to assemble. Heavy weighted but that makes it sturdy once assembled. I did put felt pads on the bottom to protect the wood floor; that also makes it easier to slide the chairs around. The material is soft and comfortable. The design can't be beat: wide, medium firm cushioned seat, a chair that swivels, a comfortable foot rest and spring-operated adjustable height (so anyone from my small grandsons to tall family friends can be accommodated). It had every attribute I was looking for in a counter stool/chair and the price was very reasonable compared to the dozens of others I'd considered.

Nice stool for the price. Easy to assemble and is quite sturdy. I like the fact that it swivels so there's no need to drag it out across our nice hardwood floor.

I purchased 2, one of them didn't even made it to 7 months of use, by a 120lb female. There's a plastic part between the base and\nthe shaft. This part fell down and is getting grinded with every swivel, producing black plastic shavings. The supposedly \n"limited" warranty, means YOU GET NO WARRANTY AT ALL, that's what Bar Stool Store basically told me. If I were you I would buy a \ncheaper barstool, that way when it breaks, you don't feel like an idiot for spending so much on a piece of junk.

We sit in the stools everyday and they are perfect for our modern kitchen.\nThey are comfortablably padded and swivel nicely.\nWe would have liked other metal color choices and did have to settle\nfor black metal with the brown faux suede but other than that we are\nvery happy with the chairs.

I bought 2 stools for my kitchen counter. I love them and the are great because they go up and down. This is a great option and allows kids to raise the height highter then I would put it. The only problem is that when I pulled the one out of the box a circular metal peice didn't get glued and it falls from the chair.Last, make sure you price shop because they are over priced by about [$] each

These are very good barstools. They are comfortable and seem to be holding up well. One comment for the pet owners: We have rather furry dogs and the hair doesn't seem to stick to these stools. Then again, the dogs don't typically try to sit on the chairs... ;^)

Overall we like the chair very much. It is comfortable and the swivel action and adjustable height work smoothly. The only issue I have with the chair is the fabric. It is thin and easily snagged. Once snagged, the fabric has visible holes. I purchased some upholstery fabric and recovered mine in something more colorful and durable.

We saw these same stools in 'barstool store' in the Orlando area for [$]. Plus, we would have had to pick them up (a 90 mile round trip). I came home, found them on this site for [$] I ordered 3 of them[...] It took my husband more time to unpack them than it did for me to put them together (about 20 minutes total)! They look great and work even better. The adjustable lift works like a charm...smooth and easy.
