I checked unsturdy only because our cat jumped off the stool once and knocked it over with her jump...it may be an issue if you have young children. But otherwise, they have been great and we love them!

comes fully assembled, very sturdy. not as comfortable as a stool with arms/back and padded seat...but if you need a low-profile stool, this is probably one of the best around.

We use them for our kitchen island. While I imagine there are more comfortable stools out there, these are a good size. They do not take up as much space and we are able to get more stools at our island with these. They seem very solid. They are attractive and we are very happy with them. Friends have said they look great.

The look of this barstool is beautiful and exactly what we wanted. The seat is a little narrow, so it probably wouldn't be that comfortable for a larger person. But for the average size or smaller person, it is very comfortable.

I am very pleased with these barstools. My wife and I have been looking for a set of barstools with the espresso finish for our breakfast bar countertop. We have a kitchen table in the espresso finish but could not find these stools in that particular finish. Unlike all the other stools that we could find at [...] etc... these have a nice woodgrain pattern under the finish and all the others appeared to have a veneer finish instead of the nice stained look that these have. They were a little more costly than the others that we found (about 20$ extra per stool) but in the long run I am glad that we went with these. The quality is better. Would highly recommend.

This is an excellent product - I am a fairly picky consumer and I think this product is very well made. These are beautifully made, solid wood stools, with a very clean, simple, elegant design. The seats are also much more comfortable than I expected - both the larger than normal seat size (i.e. rectangular instead of round) and the slight dip in the seat really add to the comfort of these pieces. I have owned these stools for a few months now, and I'm very pleased - well worth the money, I think! One last point, very important to me - these arrive completely assembled - literally, just pull them right out of the box and they're ready to go. I am poor at putting things together and was thrilled that I did not have to assemble these stools!
