Ordered three of these stools and had them within a week. Local stores that specialized in bar stools had very limited selections of tall stools, starting in the $400 range. I'm not cheap, but I'm not stupid either. Took a chance on these stools and am very happy so far. Reasonably priced and appear to be of very solid construction. They are actually a little higher than 36 inches with the cushion (about 38 inches) so I had to cut them down 2 inches, but no big deal. Just be aware that they might stink when you open the box...they reeked of fresh stain but weren't wet or anything. I think these are a great value especially since you can customize them to match any decor. We have a Leinenkugels theme in our bar downstairs so there's a lot of pine and yellow, and the whitewash oak wook and sun yellow vinyl looks great. [...]
