I'm very happy with the bar stools. They stained up nicely to match my cabinetry. There were a few rough spots on the unfinished wood that required a heavier sanding and unfortunately these spots were on the top side of the horizontal bracing - the assembler could have easily turned them around so they were on the bottom side. Even with this flaw I felt the barstools were a good value compared to what I've price elsewhere.
