I really did want to give my two bar stools the benefit of a doubt, but I think one of them suffered from manufacture defect, because I had serious problems trying to screw it together. Conversely, the other one I had no problem with.
Determined to not endure the hassle of sending the thing back, after an inordinate amount of time, and much stress, I forced it together somehow (surely improperly). But, I suppose, you get what you pay for, and there's definitely bigger battles in life than fighting with this company over a not-so-hot bar stool.
