Good stools, packed in two layers of double strength cardboard, but the boxes were just a tiny bit too small. Getting the stools out of the boxes--and maybe getting them into the boxes as well--created small scuffs at the bottom of the legs. I haven't really noticed the scuffs now that we are using the stools but was surprised that the boxes were small since they were SO heavy duty.

I took a chance ordering these stools, because someone had returned them as they didn't work out for their particular needs. I knew if I didn't like them, or they weren't right I wouldn't be able to return them. They arrived in just a day or two, and as soon as I got them I knew they were perfect! They're sturdy, comfortable, and everyone comments on the nice comfortable back height and support. If you're looking for an attractive, well made, comfortable bar stool this is the one. :)

I love these barstools for their design and sturdiness, but there are a few minor finish imperfections. Note: Holsag has changed the Carole barstool. The photo is now incorrect. There is one less horizontal ladder on the chair back. I know this from contacting the Holzag company.
