I'm a designer, consequently I'm very particular!I don't like that the back of the chair protrudes, which wasn't evident from the product pictures. I would also prefer a denser foam in the seat. Other than that I think the counterstools (under 36" high) are good value!

We use these stools at our island- I believe they are Billy the Kid with the bronze metal. They are just beautiful. We've gotten so many compliments on them! The cushions are really solid, thick, and very comfortable. The craftsmanship is great. I really love that they're made in the USA! These are great stools if you are looking for a low profile stool, simple and elegant. THey could fit into both traditional and contemporary decor. Look great in our transitional style kitchen.

I couldn't have been more pleased when the counter stools arrived. I love the quality of construction. The seats are very well padded and comfortable. I purchased 6 stools for the kitchen counter and only one is slightly off balance - nothing a small felt pad on the bottom of the leg couldn't correct. Fits nicely under the counter to just disappear. A great compliment to the new kitchen and at a great price!

Perfect at the kitchen counter, fits under the counter but offers some back support. Should come with floor protectors, though.

First,let me start with the positives: The product is very lightweight which is GREAT if you have little ones who could potentially topple the stools over and get trapped underneath. While its 20lb weight is enough to potentially hurt them, it isn't strong enough to do substantial damage. The cushion fabric seems durable as well (again, great for little ones). The biggest negative is the welding quality. Picture 4 or 5 thumb prints ALL over the barstool in every area where one bar intersects another(and there are LOTS of them). It's embarrassingly noticeable and VERY tacky!! They also made an error on the framework and covered it up so the paint is an entirely different color in the repaired area. The DESIGN is great but the execution of the product is below subpar. Also, I got the nickel finish and that was a HUGE mistake. It looks like cheap sprayppaint from a 99-cent do-it-yourself dollar store and not like the beautiful "nickel" finish that you typically see on items that legitimately have a real nickel finish. Overall, it's not a bad product but its not a great one either. With the great design and the poor craftsmanship, its the type of piece you would purchase if you just need a "patch" to address your needs. In other words, keep it for a year or two until you can afford to get something of good quality once your kids get older and stop rubbing their mashed potatoes into the barstool seats.

We were searching for stools for our kitchen island, and wanted a style with a back on the stool, but that would still allow the stool to slide completely under the island counter without the seat back or anything else sticking out beyond the counter top when the stool was not in use. We found plenty of great stools with a back, but they wouldn't fit under the island counter.
These stools are perfect. Very comfortable and very well built. We weren't sure if the low back on the stool would be high enough to be usable and provide enough support and comfort. Again, the height of the back of the stool works great ... just enough to give your back support & still slide under the island counter.
