The chairs look awesome in our downstairs family room. The casino pattern looks great with our poker theme. They look good, but are also comfortable and sturdy for rowdy poker guys. :) We will be purchasing a matching stool next.

We got the matt black finish with billiard ball green fabric, for a casual & masculine look in our bar area. The workmanship was wonderful, with nicely matched fabric placement on all 4 stools & piped edging where the fabric meets the metal. The matt finish looked richly coated & I expect it will hold up well to use. They are very comfortable, especially since the upright posts are flush with the cross pieces, so nothing digs into your back. The seats have a firm/hard feel, but I in my opinion that is desirable for new seating, as I expect it will get softer with use, yet not too soft over time. All the stools arrived well protected & in excellent condition. Assembly of the 2 parts was very easy. (After laying the top part upside down on a carpeted staircase, with the armrests supported on the bottom step & the backrest hanging over the step, it took just minutes to easly line up the 2 parts & tighten 4 bolts for each stool.) I feel the heaviness others had issue with is actually a positive, giving the chairs a very sturdy feel & preventing them from sliding needlessly on our slate tiled floor.

After taking a few months to contemplate kitchen counter stools, and what I wanted in my new house, I finally decided on this chair. I was slightly disappointed with the "nickel" color; I had hoped for a brushed nickel look. Too shiny. I had the 4 chairs repainted in a flat black. I love them!

I was looking for a barstool for daily use in a kitchen with cherry cabinets and granite bar-height counters, and did not want to sacrifice style or comfort. This barstool has both. The construction is solid, the swivel is smooth and sturdy, and the seat, arms and back are very comfortable. The foot bar is well-positioned for getting into the seat as well as resting your feet while in the seat. If you are trying to choose between arms/ no arms, I would go with the arms for comfort and balance; I don't know if the armless version has the same feel. The pebblestone finish has a light texture, it looks like a light wrought iron but feels smoother, less rustic. The peat color seat is a neutral tan/brown. \nThis is a heavy barstool, so it might not be the best choice for use by young children or less-able adults, but an older child,teen or adult of average strength can position it and get in and out of it easily. Depending on your flooring, it might help to put pads on the bottom of the each leg to make the stool easier to "scoot". I did this for a wood floor and it works well.
