Overall, this is a nice blender, but not if you plan to make smoothies using frozen fruit from Trader Joe's. The large hunks of fruit do not get drawn into the blades, and you have to add the fruit in small batches or the motor completely stalls. It's a conundrum, adding in small batches causes the blades to cavitate and not blend, adding in larger batches overwhelms the blades to the point where they can't turn, and the motor starts to burnout. Back to the food processor for us.
