I'm 5'2" and expecting a baby, and bought this chair not only for rocking the expected baby, but also because I thought it would look good in a particular room. So far I couldn't be more pleased. Easy to assemble but sturdy, smooth rocking on even uneven wood floors, and very easy to get in and out of. Even though it has a spindle back, my head rests perfectly on the top part - very comfortable too!

Very easy to put together. Once done, it appeared that the legs were too short, but it is very comfortable to sit in and rock the baby.

We've used this chair to rock my baby girl to sleep every night since it arrived. Shipment was prompt, assembly was a cinch and it is as smooth and sturdy as they come, not to mention an attractive addition to the baby's room. I am a little on the short side (5'2") and wanted to be sure to get a chair that I could get in & out of easily with my arms full This chair works perfectly for me.

The Cherry wood was more red than any of my cherry wood. It was short, Great for someone who is 5'3". Very disappointed.
