The patented polycarbonate jar, features easy-to-read markings (cups & ounces). The 64-ounce jar is shorter and half the weight of other jars with comparable volume. The ergonomically designed jar allows for 3-way pouring. Square jar design forces ingredients into the blade, providing a smooth consistent blend. 1- Year warranty on jar, lifetime warranty on blade.

This pitcher is a little different from the original because the seal at the bottom of the blade seems better made. I'm hoping it lasts longer than my original blender jar because it is an expensive investment for my occasional usage.
