Born in Florence in 1963, Sansoni has become a skillful and renowned architect and designer. In her Florence studio she creates designs for private homes, commercial spaces, outlets and interior fittings. Several of her works were mentioned in "The International Design Yearbook 1999" and by "Designing the 21st Century". Bringing fluidity and nature inside is one of her specialties as can be easily seen in her inspired designs for Alessi. The intricate pattern of freely intersecting lines created by the pierced steel design exudes a lacy organic effect entitled CACTUS!, as designed by Marta Sansoni (2002). The highly polished 18/10 stainless steel truly finishes the peice perfectly. This striking accent definitely makes a statement and is available in two different sizes, either in an 8" diameter or an 11.5" diameter.
